Create Your First World in Minecraft: A Workshop for Roblox Fans and Beginners

Eduardo Leiva, Founder, Weikiu

Minecraft is not just a game — it can also be your first step into creativity, logic, and digital world building.

If you already enjoy Roblox, you probably know why that matters: you are used to building worlds, thinking about challenges, and creating experiences other people can explore. That makes Minecraft a great next step for learning without feeling overwhelmed.

That is exactly why we created this workshop: to help you create your first Minecraft world from scratch, in a practical, guided way, with no prior experience required.

Why Minecraft is a great starting point

It combines three things that make learning easier:

  • Quick results: you see something working early and can explore what you created.
  • Creativity: it is not only about building; you are also designing an experience.
  • Real motivation: learning feels better when you are making something you actually care about.

That makes Minecraft a strong entry point for kids, teens, and anyone who wants to start creating games and worlds without beginning with overly abstract concepts.

What you will learn in the workshop

This is not a theory-only class. The goal is to leave with a real foundation and a simple world running.

During the workshop, step by step, we cover:

  1. How Minecraft works as a creative environment and how to move around inside it.
  2. How to create scenes and objects to build your first world.
  3. How to think through simple mechanics, challenges, and rules that make a project playable.
  4. How to add basic interactions, like jump zones, doors, rewards, or paths.
  5. How to test, fix, and improve your world before sharing it.

No programming background is needed. We start from zero and move at a pace designed for learning by doing.

Who is this for?

This workshop is a great fit if you:

  • want to get started with Minecraft and do not know where to begin;
  • are coming from Roblox and want to start creating worlds and experiences;
  • are interested in making games but have never touched programming;
  • are looking for a fun and educational activity for kids or teens;
  • are a teacher, school, or organization looking for a practical tech workshop;
  • want a guided learning experience instead of watching tutorials alone.

Format: in Chivilcoy or remote

We can run the workshop in person in Chivilcoy or remotely, depending on what works best for you.

The in-person version works especially well for small groups, schools, educational spaces, or more intensive sessions. The remote version is ideal if you want to join from anywhere, with live guidance and hands-on exercises.

In both cases, the approach is the same: learn, build, and finish with something concrete in your hands.

Why this workshop works

There are plenty of random tutorials online, but learning on your own often has one problem: you do not know what to look at first or how to organize the steps.

In a well-structured workshop, the experience is different:

  • you get a clear path;
  • you avoid getting stuck on common mistakes;
  • you can ask questions as you go;
  • and you move forward with a concrete goal.

That speeds up learning a lot, especially when you are taking your first step into game development.

If you want to start, this is the moment

If you have ever thought, “I want to create something in Minecraft, but I do not know where to start,” this workshop is built for that.

We help you go from an idea to something playable, understandable, and fun. If you are coming from Roblox, you will find a familiar creative mindset, now applied to Minecraft world building. And if you are in Chivilcoy, even better: we can do it in person. If not, we can run it remotely.

If you want to organize it for yourself, a group, or an institution, write to us through the contact page and tell us which format you prefer.
